Kiss-im-mee 5 K Run

Kissimmee Main Street is proud to celebrate 2010 Valentine’s Day with the 2nd Annual Kiss-im-Mee 5 K Run on Saturday, February 13th at 7:30AM. This event will promote heart health with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association.

Participants will enjoy a serene lakeshore run as the early morning fog rolls over Lake Tohopekaliga. They will take in some of Kissimmee’s beautiful historic homes and find great shopping and dining venues as they run through the historic downtown. With the nature, history, and sites encountered, this is not your typical 5k.

The race begins at Toho Square near 12 E. Darlington in Downtown Kissimmee where there is ample parking. Fees are $20 in advance, $25 after February 9, 2010. Students (high school and below) are $15.

To register, please go to http://www.active.com. In the search box, type in Kissimmee 5 K and in the Activity menu, select Running. This will take you to the link to register.

You may download the registration form, fill it out and drop it off, mail or fax (407-846-4605) it to Main Street. If you like you can also download the map of the course.
