Downtown Kissimmee

Secretary of State Announces Florida Main Street Program of the Month - Kissimmee

About Us

If you have a passion for Downtown Kissimmee, and want to be part of an organization that is making a difference, then get involved with Kissimmee Main Street!

So what exactly is Main Street? The National Main Street Program was established in 1979, when a group of visionaries from the National Trust for Historic Preservation realized the only way America’s small-town architecture would be preserved is if small-town businesses were successful enough to take care of their buildings.  Thus, Main Street was born.

Kissimmee Main Street works within National Main Street guidelines and uses the national program’s Four-Point Approach to accomplish our mission. Each “Point” focuses on a specific area, and has a committee of volunteers who meet each month and work hard accomplish the goals of their specific committee.  Email us and let us know which committee you  would like to join.
